AUTOEXPO AFRICA COMES WITH OIL AND GAS TECHNOLOGIES EXHIBITION

 22 countries from outside and inside Africa have arrived in the country for the three-day exhibition of the gas and oil sector, starting today in Dar es Salaam.

The exhibition known as Oil and Gas Africa 2024, held for the eighth consecutive time under the coordination of Auto Expo Africa in collaboration with the government is held in Dar es Salaam.

It has been stated, among other things, that the exhibition hopes to open the windows of various investment opportunities in the area of ​​oil and gas, in parallel with shaping the enthusiasm of Tanzanians to start investing in the mentioned areas.


Speaking today at the launch of the exhibition, the Promotional Director of the Special Production Zones Authority for Exports (EPZA) James Maziku, said the exhibition has come at the right time due to the great need to increase technological productivity in the value chain in the area of oil and gas.

"There are still many products that require advanced technologies in this area," he said and added; "These exhibitions are a friendly and easy way to attract investment"

In addition, Maziku urged Tanzanians to participate widely in learning the available technologies considering that it is a unique opportunity whose access is inexpensive and its productivity is high.
